Genoa Ventures Named to Inc.’s 2021 List of Founder-Friendly Investors

Genoa made the cut as one of Inc.’s Founder-Friendly Investors list, honoring the private equity and venture capital firms with the best track record of success backing entrepreneurs. The 2021 list recognizes 146 firms that entrepreneurs can trust and collaborate with while receiving the financial support they need to help accelerate growth. Genoa Ventures is honored to be named to the Inc. list in the midst of this exciting year for our portfolio companies.

"We are thrilled to be recognized for Genoa's founder-first philosophy. At Genoa Ventures we believe that founders are the captains of their ships, bravely pursuing visions that will transform marketplaces and create a new world,”  said Jenny Rooke, Ph.D., managing partner and founder of Genoa Ventures. “It is a privilege to support a founder in charting their course and setting their sails."

It has been a stellar year for many of Genoa Ventures portfolio companies:  Stemson Therapeutics closed a $15 million Series A financing using cell regeneration technology to cure hair loss; InterVenn BioSciences secured over $200M in Series C financing to advance its AI-powered platform to unlock layers of complex biology and find new insights for many types of cancer; and Intabio was acquired by SCIEX after developing analytical solutions to transform biotherapeutic development and manufacturing.
